Grading

Our grading is "old school", pre-Goldmine. We guarantee our grading with a "money back" guarantee that includes shipping.

Mint or M = only used for sealed records or records that we are certain have never been played.

NM or Near Mint - for the most part as good as it gets! No marks and will play clean with no noise.

EX+ - Will generally have one or two minor flaws, but will overall be near mint. Played no more than three times.

EX  = Excellent! May have light surface marks (scuffs) and possible light background noise in spots. Overall a very nice copy.

EX- = Overall an Excellent copy with some light surface marks, but with something that distracts. i.e. a small scratch that makes a few pops.

VG+  = Consistent background noise with a few pops that might annoy. Still a very playable copy.

VG = Problems. Background noise moves to the foreground. May have quite a few pops.

VG- = May have a skip or two and will definitely be very noisy.

G = Stands for good. Very noisy with skips and lots of loud pops. Noise will dominate over the music.
